This makes LT ideal for architecture offices, structural planners, surveyors and trades that mainly create and exchange precise 2D plans. Compared with full AutoCAD, what is missing is mainly the 3D functionality (3D modeling, rendering, mesh and solid tools) and the programmable interfaces (LISP/API). Anyone working exclusively in 2D saves significantly without compromising on accuracy, DWG compatibility or plan quality. As with all Autodesk products this is an account-bound annual subscription: the license is booked to your Autodesk email address, there is no classic product key. After purchase, give us your Autodesk account email – setup usually takes 1–2 business days, after which you download the software directly from your account.
